those are called aiptasia they are pest anemones they spread really fast and they kill coral and sting fish. u have to squirt them with boiling water to kill them. do it fast cause they look healthy and ready to multiply.

Those are Appies. Aiptasia. An unwanted and stingy anemone hitchhiker that becomes prolific in no time.
I zap mine with kalk, but there are products prepared for them if you wanted to go that route. I've used all the products, vinegar, boiling water... etc etc.

Best solution BY FAR is peppermint shrimp. Specially if u don't have to feed other fish. They will find these guys and devour them. I had 6 in my tank bought peppermint shrimp - all gone by morning. I have heard that not all will eat them but mine loves nothing more. Matter of fact just bought green star poly rock today with 2 on it. GONE in under an hour!!! Never had to worry about boiling water or joes juice or anything.
Matter of fact if anyone has any they want to feed my shrimp just send them my way - steak dinner for him. Lol

Depending on your stocklist, peppermint shrimp or a copperbanded butterfly are the best non-shooting stuff option. If they are in places you cant reach a needle that is.

The problem with pep shrimp is they only go after the very small aiptasia. The bigger ones have to be killed manually.
