ID please, another new creature...

This just popped out of some LR a couple days ago. Its bright white, about big around as spaghetti, an inch or so sticking out with a "y" on its tip.
Any ideas,

Could it be a Vermitid Snail?

It could, as long as this snail doesnt have a shell.....

Vermitids have shells, normally in the shape of a tube or a spiral. They are sessile (never move). Sometimes they can send out slime in the form of a net to capture detritus and bacteria.

Thanks bang & melody. I'll try to get a better pic soon. Im getting a new dig cam thats waaay better then the old p.o.s. im using now. ( it actually has macro! )

Vermetids are usually thought to be tube worms by new folks, but due to their anatomy, they are classified as snails.......obviously nothing like a turbo or astrea, but a non-moving snail regardless.......they are good, and they send out "webs" to catch food from the water column, which they then reel back in to eat.. I'm not so sure that is one since the "Y" is so far out. A close up would help.
