Hello, I have recently seen this in one of my rocks, it looks like tenticles or something, I'm not sure how many there are, I have only seen 3 at once. They are like 1/20th of an inch thick, and get smaller at the tip of them, and they are white and have what looks like black lines. I took a pic but it isn't easy to see them, so I tried to get it as big as I could without ruining the focus, and I highlighted it in red. Thanks!

They are the arms of brittlestars, from what I can tell. It is probably only one animal extending three of its arms, which is common. Possibly a species of Ophiactis. Hitch hiker on LR. Doesn't really get larger. Considered a good critter :)

Thats what I was thinking also, but I wasn't sure, but it definatly looks like the legs of a brittle star, but I wasnt sure if they came in white or even if it would hide like that all the way in the rock. And when i touched something to it, it quickly went back into the rock, and I wasnt sure if they moved that fast. But hopefully thats all it is, that makes me feel better! Thanks guys!
