ID Please

I got some base rock from my LPS and it has several of these on it. Can anyone tell me what they are and if the are good or bad ?

go to the store and get joes juice and get em if you dont there will be tons of them in no time nice to look at. i feed mine for a few weeks till i found an article. i then poked my head around the rocks a little and i counted at least 35 im down to as many as 5 but not sure every time i look there is a baby.

Thanks very much for the input guys. I think I will try and get rid of them. Don't want them overtaking the tank.

Joes Juice is very effective. Lots easier to dose than a Kalk paste or any Lemon juice.
Just keep up on them. Dont let them go crazy. They are nasty little creatures!

Ok, Thanks I will try Joes Juice. I am just starting out and I don't want them to overtake my tank. :) By the way can anyone tell me where I can get it ? I didn't see any for sale on this site.

its a type of mushroom coral. ive got one of those on one of my LR in my aquarium. It hasnt spread yet But 2b honest I wouldnt mined if it did. Its not bad so you dont have 2b affraid of it. If you do go with Joes juice find out if it will harm any of your other coral

Thats not a mushroom and joes juice wont hurt your corals as long as you dont spray them directly a little got on my bubble coral he closed up for a day now hes as big as ever no problems good luck the size of that one i would say there are already one or two more stuck on the rock real close to that one they are very very tiny and grow fast.
