Could conceivably be some type of porites encrusting coral - they often come as hitchikers. Anyone else?

yes i cannot see the coralites, but as you say its growing "fast" then my guesse is an encrusting gorg, porties grow very slow, and also dont have the color faviation in polyps to skele, but the possiblity of it being an encrusting Montipora is also kinda likely, was that rock wild cultured, if so where from? or from the LFS
still sticking to encrusting gorg though.

rock was purchased at a LFS it has 8 mini feather dusters in it when it started it was a pinkish white and the polyps just looked like fuzzy pluses now that it is growing it has turned lime green with the polyps type growth from it
