Could this be the beggining of Red Hair algea :notsure:

Anyone???? I could post more pics if needed.
It hasn't gotten bigger or really spread that much. All my levels are ok the tank is about a month old and was started with cured rock live sand and sea water from the LFS. I have been using RO to top off every since.

Looks like Coraline growth to me. That is a good thing.

See if it is hard or just wipes off with a finger.

I didn't know coraline could be a burgandy color. The pic doesn't' really show you the color as dark as it is.

Yeah .... if it's hard it's coralline .... if it's slimey, it's probably cyanobacteria.

I hope its coraline, I touched it and it didn't feel slimy and it didn't come off when I touched it. Thank you for your replys:nervous:
