Okay, I'm not asking for an ID on the green zoas... but... what are they ON? It seems to be a conglomeration of oysters, but I'm not sure! There are about 7, ranging in size from one to four inches, and contrary to what I assumed when I plopped them in the tank, they're alive and I can see their white blobinesses inside when they open. Their shells are not as wavy as the "show clams" I see online.
There's also at least one spaghetti worm in there, b/c it's "arms" are always out, probably looking for the sandbed.

So, are they oysters... clams...? And they're filter feeders, right?
Anyone?
:help:
Thanks, guys!

Nice zoanthids. "Some kind of oyster" is about as good as I can do on the ID.

It is for sure a filter feeder. It might survive.

Thanks, Wax. I paid $15 (plus $3 extra shipping with the rest of my order) from a seller on The Auction Site. I stopped counting polyps at 85, so I think it was a huge bargain. They're my first zoas - I want to make sure these thrive before I buy some blues.
