ID Please

Has anybody seen this stuff before? it has been growing on a couple of pieces of my live rock for about 2 months. I dont know if I should remove it or what?

were do u shop on long island? ive never seen that on lr try to post it in the reef tanks threead!

I shop at Aqua-Hut in Coram, Country Critters in Patchogue, and Pet Warehouse in Copaique
The growths arent hard like barnacles

I looked up brown wafer algae, and it might just be that.
I wonder if I should leave it alone, it does look interesting.

I was thinking either a of a couple of forms... Lobophora sp. or Peyssonnelia sp.

Thanks everybody for your help, I'll keep a close eye on it, and if it takes over i guess i will have to scrape it off. It doesent seem like any of my fish or inverts are going to eat it.
