This is spongy like and in a rock as you can see. The rock has about 4 of these in it.

Correct Sponge, they are just filter feeders and harmless. I have about 15 of them in some of my caves.

Thanks for the quick replies. I just wonted to make sure thats it nothing bad. I also havent seen a spong of this color.

Sponges can come in hundreds of colors and most are harmless
