ID Please

I have theses little white and brown gnat looking things running around on my live rock. I can't get a pic, they are really small. Any ideas.

These are amphipods:

is there a difference with the amphipods and copepods.... is there a plus or minus to the two of them... i notice a lot more amphipods in my Fuge... and the amphipods seem a lot bigger than the copepods....

Both are good and population seems to fluctuate...sometimes I don't see one for weeks, then they are everywhere.
