What is this green spiral shaped things growing from this rock? Not very good pics but the best I could get.

Not sure, but that is some massive Aiptasia you've got growing right next to it. I'd get rid of that before it spreads...

Yeah it looks like the start of sea sausage/spindleweed algae (sp. Neomeris annulata) google image search it to be sure. I'd just pluck it out. Most fish won't touch it. It's not necessarily bad, but it doesn't really have much benefit either and will just eventually grow like a weed.
As for the aiptasia, you need to take care of that, that is huge, and I'd assume that if you have one that big, you've got more than just that in your tank. Aiptaisia-X or Joe's Juice works great.

Really? I've always been told that it will grow like crazy and take over coral colonies???? Of course I trust your opinion far more than that of my LFS
