ID Please

I have this pic posted in the Zoa's forum. Anybody over here know what these things are to the bottom right of my yellow polyps? It seems to be irritating these and one other colony of my zoa's.
Any help would be great.

forani.. erm, foraniferan... erm.. oh i can never remember. either that or hydroids...or are you talking about the thing that is directly underneath your zoos?
and btw, posting at night, you gotta be patient for the old fogies to wake up :)

So I assume this could be the culprit for the zoa's irritation. Underneath the zoa's is the same thing. I have been manually removing these with a pair of tweezers, but they seem to be all over the place.
I appreciate the response, if anybody else here wants to chime in on ways to irradicate these that would be great. I am assuming a underwater blowtorch, just like the colonial hydroids that I have. Would an Iodine dip remove these from the zoa colonies?
