Tenticals like that almost look like aptaisia but its hard to get a look at the body of the thing.

i would have to say the same thing... see if you can get a look at the body if its a tube looking thing youve got a anemone you need to get rid of.

yes it is. it came with the lr i purchased. i have like 8 of them spread around my tank. remember i bought the lr from a lfs display tank? i guess thats how i get all these cool hitch hikers. unfortanately, the fish didnt make it, due to ick. other then the tang, everything is doing good. water perameters are good, so im planning on getting a clean up crew, to do some house cleaning

well thats good to know now.
Why spen d a good amount of money on a setup. then turn around and forget everything you learned and buy coral during your cycle.;)

yea.... :( i know... only reason why i didnt do the shrimp is because of the tang. the lr i purchased only costed me a buck more per pound, then the ones sold in a non display tank, at my lfs. it "HAD" purple and red colors to it, but now mostly brown :mad: i was lucky to get these mushrooms for free... the sales guy checked every piece of lr, before he sold it to me.

If you bought rock out of an established tank then it is curred rock .. especially having shrooms on it ... dont worry its a good thing your in the clear and your cycle is no more .. with precurred rock you are introducing established bacteria into your tank that eats anmonia and nitrates.
