Anyone recognize this purple macroalgae that's growing in my tank? It's really pretty but starting to get too big, If I break off a piece and it falls into the rocks it begins to grow again.
yeah, I think youyre right, I looked it up. It's definately purple, not red, but the structure is the same as the red gracilaria. (It's purple under the actinic + grey under regular room lighting)
