ID Questions

It looks to me like the coral ppl call "flower pot". Try a search for that maybe.

Not real sure, but if you bought it at your LFS what did they have it labled as? Not that they are always right, but sometimes it happens.

Well- that's the problem. They had just gotten it in, told me a name (which wasn't correct AT ALL) and sold it cheap. It's doing GREAT- I would just like to know what it's called.
I don't think the first ID was correct- after looking at other pictures, it doesn't look like the others- probably because of the poor picture quality. I'll try to get a better pic.

Looks like either a gonipora or an Alvepora.

I would agree with those IDs.
Quick question...is that a Pipe Organ coral in your pictures? If so it seems to be showing a lot of its base wihtout many polyps? (Maybe the lights had just come on or something)
Pipe organs really like flow and light, so make sure it is getting those and maybe it will look better.

Thanks for the advice. They were purchased from a compeitor of SWF (they were awful to deal with- SWF is much better!) When they arrived, half were missing and the other half were almost dead. So I'm trying to save them right now- the ones that were still alive are doing MUCH better!
