ID Spots On Sailfin Tang

Greetings all,
Need help identifying crystal looking spots that just recently appeared on sailfin tang. On side fins, Tail fin and sides of body. Looked at other pictures of tangs and they look like they have a few. Maybe it is natural and I just didn't notice them. Spots appeared over night in abundance? I didn't really notice the spots until after about two hours of addind five gal of ro saltwater. Am I being paranoid?

if by crystal you mean translucent, its probably air, if its white, its probably ich.

It is translucent, but how could it be air...He looks and acts normal...it seems as if they weren't there and then they were.

They probably got in when you were adding water. Sometimes air gets trapped in a powerhead, and gets thrown out once in awhile. I would not lose sleep over it.

I am sure thats not the case with your fish, but my cowfish farts little air bubbles. So maybe, he just had mexican late last night.
