Looks like a mushroom umbrella. maybee.not sur do, but i did stay at a holiday inn last night.

I did touch it, its really hard. It doesnt close up but it reacts.

Good call!! Thats what it is. I looked at the pics of fungia. Are they aggresive to zoas?

I agree, If you do try to remove it be very carefull their flesh is very tender and one bruise can lead to eavy recession though the short tentacle plates usually recover. thats a nice specimin good color.

I have one also, just got it ID, its a funia, mine was smaller then a dime, its now quarter size in 2 months.
