ID this worm

Okay i was just taking some of my red slime algae out with a turkey baster, and i found this white worm in the algea. Is it bad, good? I took it out and it is in a bucket right now. its not that big probably about1 in. 1 1/2 in big and real skinny. And it kinda looks hairy. Wut is it. Thanks for your help.

well whatever it was it is dead now. (i spilt the bucket of algae in my room) IT STINKS!!
