ID... White Emerald Crab?!?! Or Something Else?

Best picture I could get. Hitch hiker I noticed the other night.
One of my lfs's has the same exact thing in a nano-tank which I see almost everytime I go in (which is about once a week).
I asked a guy that was in there and he said it was a molting emerald crab but I think he may be wrong cause everytime I am in there its white, never seen it green only white..... They don't molt every week do they? This is why I think its either an albino or something else. Anyone know what it is?

Wow, he's really hard to see. Can you tell if his claws are round or pointy?? If they are pointy, put him in the fuge!!

some emeralds are very pale, but if it was a hitchiker, and it's a pale color, i'd put my money on a gorilla crab

The little guy won't let me get a better look at him, really hope its not a gorilla!

I would agree with you that this is probably an emerald. I have had a few that have been white right before they molt. If you can get a better picture, post it to be sure, but looking at the less than perfect picture that you were able to get, I would think it is an emerald that has been in it's current shell for quite some time and is getting ready to molt.
