A while back, in this thread...

we had concluded that what I had was aiptasia. I still have the same stuff but now I am not so sure what it is so I wanted to double check... I will show 3 pics. If you all still think it's aiptasia, lemme know, but now that's it's (a little) bigger I can see a little more detail.

And this pic is why I have doubt. It has tubes like a feather duster only they are hard and clear like a vermetid??:notsure:
I scared it to see if it would retract. It did, but that's when I saw these...

They sting the *$^#&$ out of anything that touches them. Fish learn to stay away fairly quickly though.
The little Jellyfish they produce pack a punch as well and it's harder for the fish to dodge those.

What's a good way to get rid of these? I think I have some near some corals.
Better yet could a person feel the sting? I would love to have my brother find out if that's what they are or not.

they can also move, and are extremely hard to kill, when i started out i though i had aiptasia, but nothing i did worked, got pissed one day, took out the rock, and torched the hydroids, one of those little torch pens you cna buy on ----, like $20, i love it, great for fireworks :D
