Got this SPS in a frag tank for like $15. Not really 100% on what it is though. I was thinking it might be a type of Stylophora, but I am not an SPS keeper, so I can't say for sure. Thanks all.
Correct, its a poccillapora, to be exact:
its a Pink Poccillapora.
Easy care level, grows pretty fast. Doubles every 6 months.
I just picked up one the other day. $50 at the LFS, was pretty big. About 10" tall and 8" across. Dozens of heads on it. Nice plant, lots of movement in the polyps.
Break it down for me. Give me the distinct difference on how to tell them apart. Ive pulled up both and them look the same. I know Im missing something major on knowing which is which.

I just know because I own one.
And with the high res shots i could see up close the dark circles and polyp head shape/size.
Most shots online of these are at a distance and not taken so well. Thats probably why they are hard for you to tell.
Up close its easy to spot something you own, thats why I can tell so easy.

Ya, they are really easy to please.
I feed mine a mix of different coral foods, oyster feast, and phyto feast. I have mine in med water flow, and the polyps are always open.
