If you look at the ends it doesnt have the digitata spead. I dont really know how to explain the flat fork of a digitata. Mines more of a branch like. I could be wrong. LOL

The green montipora digitata are a vivid dark green with branch like features that have lighter ends on their finger-like extensions. They usually grow vertically with branches, but not all the time. But look under sps at the dr's site and yours looks alot like it. But I could be wrong as well.

I agree that it looks similar. But if you look at the end/new growth this is where im not sure. My new growth is round and the montipora digi is flatter. But the polyps look the same. But how cool is the purple?

You are probably right! Maybe this one has just taken on different growth. I have this on three different sites including the big one and your the first to answer.
