Thanks Murph - That 3 stripe damsel is huge, original cycle fish??
I like the way you hid the pump in the rock... I have been debating a lot on flow and if I am going to split up the rock or use the whole tank. Either way I like lots of big holes for the fish to explore...

thanks
yeah that damsil is 2-1/2 years old....
flow is important i have about 20-25X's flow in my tank....
lots of caves, shelves and wholes in the rock is key to a nice look i have lots where fish hang out...
yeah it tried to hide the pumps the best i could

Any more tanks?? I am leaning towards stacking rock on either end and leaving the middle open.. still not sure though..

This is how I started out with my 'scaping' when I first went from my 55 to a 125...I have added about another 100 or so lbs of live rock in the year and a half since, though..

Once again, not a 125, just a 55, BUT, I have 3 different ways I have had my tank, and the most recent is probably my fave, and most flow.
First set up:

Second set up. I think this would have looked better if I left the middle open instead of the coral skeletons:

Most recent, with and without coral skeletons:

Thanks to everyone for the input.
Tomorrow is the big day. I am moving my tank about 100 miles... Hopefully everything will go smoothly. I still haven't completely decided how I am going to rearrange my rock. I am going to add some more substrate and sand. but that is all I know, except I am very nervous.
I will post some more pics when the dust settles. Wish me luck!!

ohmigosh...GOOD LUCK!!!! :jumping:
We're also making a big move soon....end of January we're moving about an hour from where we are now.
My tank is a whole lot smaller than yours (only a 12), but moving a tank is moving a tank.
Let us all know how it went - and if u picked up any neat moving tricks along the way!! :joy:

The move is over!! I started breaking down the system at 830am and finished with the tank about 130am by the time I picked up a little and took a shower it was a little after 3!! Very long day.. It appears as though my patience paid off though. I didn't even loose a shrimp... everyone made it ok. I will post pics a little later..
Thanks for the ideas and support!!

looks great!! it looks like it had been set up for ears w/o moving! i was just wondering, how come i always see poeples brittle stars crawling on the wall but mine never does it?

My brittle usually stays hid as well. This is very typical, they mostly come out at night and look for scraps.. I had just put him back in the tank and I think he was just very confused from the trip. I also replaced 30G of 125 with new SW. so basically almost a 25% water change. That may stunned him just a little bit too... I don't think the water change was too hard on any critters though... I didn't even loose a shrimp though out the whole ordeal.. even as bad as a few of those pics look it was a very controled enviroment especially in the temp dept..
