Would this be a good selection for a 55 gallon tank
1-Firefish goby
2-Percula clown
1-Royal gramma
1-Blue Hippo Tang
What do you think?

I would leave out the hippo. You could add a nice dwarf angel, and maybe a cardinal instead.
