Ideas for a peaceful tank

Hello, I have a 55gal and was looking for ideas for fish. Right now I have a clown and two crabs. Dont have much live rock but will be getting more next week along with another clown. After I get more LR the fake coral is being taken out, the white clam is already gone. Also I will be getting a coralife super skimmer soon. I wanted a lawnmower blenny until I found out it would not last in my tank. Wanted a small yellow or blue tang and i know they wouldn't have enough room. I wanted a hawaiian puffer but he will eat my crabs. I am looking for ideas for peaceful fish. 6 line wrasse? Any ideas would be great, thanks. I like to post pics of the tank now that I know how so here u go. :happyfish

A flame angel would add alot of color or a lemonpeel angel.
I have a pygmy angel, not as colorful but a cute personality!
Royal grammas are colorful also, but I've heard they can get a little agressive.

in the fist pic it looks like you have damsels. damsels are not a peacefull fish. before you put in more liverock take the damsels out they are evil little things that will chase your other fish and stress them to death. and once you put liverock in almost impossible to catch. also when you put in the live rock if your not carefull it will put your tank into a cycle since it looks like you need around fifty pounds of live rock. smell your rock when you get it if it does not smell like the ocean then only add about five pounds at a time. or just save up till you can afford 50 pounds of live rock add it all at once and suffer through another cycle. have fun

peacefull fish. i love my bengia cardinal he was tank raised not wild caught and my pink skunk clownfish never bothers anything. i have them in with 4 seahorses and never have any problems with agression also clown gobies cute little fish very passive

I am starting a peaceful tank in a 55gal to and I had success for keep ing 2c;lowns a 6linewrasse carpenter flasher wrasse this fish Is so beautiful

Hi,
First...don't get the Coralife skimmer it's a pile of crap, if you already purchased it...oh well, sorry. Coralife went out of business and another company is selling their stuff off, all that's left is the garbage. I wouldn't buy coralife anything, I have had about 5 different Coralife products over the years and the only good one was a PC light back when the company was in business.
There is a book you should get, pictured below. It tells you all about the fish, and has pictures so you can see their beauty...that way you can pick and choose and know what to look for. There is so many fish in the sea and this book will save you lots of headaches.

I never look at dates...I hate when I answer a thread and it's so old, I always feel so stupid...anyway whoever dug it up must have some issues they want answered, maybe my books will help them out.
