i know that SW.com has a hacker safe program on it but i am still scared of the possibility of identity theft. i know that buying from online is cheaper and in most cases better (other than the acclimation)but i feel that identity theft is not woth the risk. Has anybody had identity theft happen to them on SW.com? or Live Aquaria?

I ordered a few times and it's always been safe. But know that a lot of thefts occur, not with the actual sight, but with your own access. What I mean is, a hacker can sit in a car right outside your house with a wireless internet card in his laptop, and when you log on, he now has your access. If your afraid of that happening, then log on, get your order and log back off as soon as possible, thus removing your credit card info from your history list. You can go one step further and erase your history.

I'm not sure anyone would have time to be a rap...stalker....all my free time goes into the care of all of my animals.

It's actually safer for you to order online, like with your credit card or PayPal (paypal is safest) then it is to go to the store and write a check or use a credit card. There is a better chance that a merchant will keep your information. Of course the way safest is to pay cash.
On the comptuer you are more safe if your IE encryption is turned on. There will also be an icon of a lock on the bottom right status bar. Also make sure your OS has all of the security updates and that you are clean of spyware.
I do all of my banking and everything I possibly can online, but I am an IT specialist and do everything computer, network, telecom for a living. If you know the system you would know that using a credit card is pretty much the same as using the compter to order whether you walk into a store or log into your computer. The information is sent over the internet either way you go. You just have to decide if your computer is safe or have an expert check it for you.
An good analogy would be that it is way safer to fly then it is to drive.
