If someone has a ***** coupon for the $1 per gl up to 90gl (sent out to P.A.L.S members (which i am one) and is not going to use could someone mail it to me? we really want a 90gl tank, and this may be our only chance at a bigger tank for a long, long time. Just think how happy fish will be in 90gl,
I'll send a self address envople if any one has one they are not going to use.

Whats the coupon for exactly?
You might try calling the company. Many times they will send them to you. Especially the ones online,where they ask you to put in a coupon code when ordering. I called one company yesterday for a coupon code for their web site and they gave me one worth 5 dollars off.

The Coupon was sent to P.A.L.S members (which i am one). it was for $1 per gl up to 90gl. that's $90 for a 90gl tank. I called the store but you must have the coupon. When sinner got the P.A.L.S card he said no to giving them his address (didn't want tons of junk mail-now he wishes he had).
I'll see if I can call and ask them to send me one. The lady who I talked to at the store said they wouldn't. But I guess I can try. A bigger tank would be great, and for $90 he could buy it, otherwise it's going to be a long, long time (we're both students)

If I did I would send it to you no problem.
I'd call them up and ask for the store manager. What's the big deal about having some little piece of paper called a coupon anyways.
I've always been able to get a deal on an advertised special, with or without the All Mighty Coupon.
If ***** has this promotion - they are doing it to sell tanks and hopefully make some money on stands, lighting and other accessories needed for a new tank.
So what if you don't have the coupon.
Do they want to sell you a tank or not.
This has always been my approach when talking to the store manager, but don't waste your time with the department clerks.
They act like the piece of paper coupon has some value to it, and without it, they can not offer you the promotional pricing.
Unless these coupons were printed up in a limited supply, and only so many promotional prices were to be offered, I'd demand that they give you the deal.
In my opinion, the only value a coupon has is to get you into the store in the first place.
Talk to the manager.

I defintely agree with broomer5, talk to the manager. if your a p.a.l.s. member already and have proof of membership, that may do the trick too. good luck in your quest. it sounds like a great deal.

I am a pals member,and started a thread about this a week ago. I called ***** about not getting a coupon and the fish dept. manager said , you're a pals member you really don't need one.

"The flyer was only sent to a specific number of customers who had made purchases in the aquatics department in the last 6 months. Not all PALS customers recieved the mailing.

Thank you for contacting *****. This coupon booklet was a very specific direct mailer that went out to only 250,000 of our 11.5 million members. It was directed at customer that purchased very specific products from the aquatics department in a very specific time period. I apologize that you did not receive one this year.

don't ya just love how the story changes? and why is it some stores will honor without, others claim to have never heard of it?
sinner was going to go try in person, but wouldn't you know he couldn't find his card? I want a bigger tank! (how easy it is to build one)

Just wanted to let you guys know after a few e-mails to ***** going higher and higher up each time. They finally sent me a coupon book. I order my 90 gal tank yesterday. So keep on trying coupon is good till 7-31-02.

?@$%, i've tried everything! and got no where, called 3 different *****'s, wrote and called the company, one ***** never heard of the deal the others said no way without a coupon.
again, if anyone has a coupon and isn't going to use it, please email me at yellowtang@virtualdesk.net a 90gl would be great!

This is the last e-mail I sent to them a few days later the coupon book came in the mail. Britt Trozzi is the first person I contacted by e-mail and is the one who sent the coupon book, he said it took some work to get one out of his supervisor.
*** Well I am very sorry to hear that, but if you will not honor a loyal ***** P.A.L.S. member I guess I will have to take my business elsewhere. I understand that the coupon was sent out for PALS member that purchase mainly aquatic supplies, but I just got in the Saltwater hobby a few months ago and have already purchased two Large aquariums from ***** including all the filters and numerous fish. The reason I was interested in the coupon is because I wanted to upgrade to an even lager aquarium. I always received excellent service at my local ***** and I always thought it was do to good management at the head quarters, I guess I was proven wrong. I think maybe ***** should take the time to look up my PALS account (309552588) and just see how much money we spend with you guys, with 2 dogs 2 cats 2 saltwater aquariums with numerous fish each, that's a lot of money we spend there on monthly bases. PLEASE do not insult my intelligence and telling me that a coupon has any value, most of the time they are used to attract customers in the store. I will be posting your response on several saltwater fish message boards that I am a member of.

This seemed to work for me.... I purchased a few hermit crabs using the 25% off coupon that was in the same booklet as the $1 per gal coupon and they let me keep the coupon till the end of the month. If the let me keep the $1 per gal coupon I will send to you sinner's girl.

When are you picking it up. Glad you're able to have a 90gl. What are your plans for it?
