I really want that motion that i saw at the live fish store... that ocean current swaying that they have is so mesmorizing.. we have added a power head and although it is certanily creating more current for my corals... it NOT quite the same.. IF your budget "could" allow for a wave maker... what would you choose and why... i cant decide

I would convert one of those huge wave pools that they have in water parks to SW. Now that would be sweet!!

Hmmm, money no option? I would build a 250 gallon tank in a wall with the living room on one side & sunroom with hot tub on the other side :)

AN ENTIRE BASEMENT AS THE AQUARIUM..SHARKS, RAYS AND EVERYTHING ... BUT MAKE IT SO IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOM..ITS NOT AN AQUARIUM .. THE STAIRS GO INTO IT .. AND HAVE A LITTLE SITTING AREA.. SO THAT UR LIKE SITTING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TANK..BUT REALLY YOUR NOT ...
OR JUST MAKE A TUNNEL I GUESS :s
... AND IF ITS AT ALL POSSIBLY...U COULD MAKE AN ""INNER AQUARIUM"" SO YOU COULD HAVE A REEF .. AND THE ""OUTTER AQUARIUM" COULD BE NON REEF SAFE FISH .. BUT IT WOULD CREATE THE ILLUSION THEY ARE ALL IN THE SAME TANK :d
JUST SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT

I would get 3X300 gal tank one will be LPS and the other will be SPS and my third one will be fish only. I also would get a large lagoon or a pond like Bang for filtering. That would be sweet hehehe... oh time I will have just planning it out.

Humm..What would i want. Well my house is the right size for my new 90 gallon. So I would want a bigger house to go with a bigger tank.

Amen...
Exactly what I immediately thought... buy a house on the NE tip of australia, buy me a boat with a compressor... and dive, dive, dive.

Dang... $3500 for lights for my tank...
If I was starting over I'd probably do it (seeing as how I probably spent over $2000)...
I love being able to program for cloud cover, LOL.

I'd hate to see the interface on that monochromatic screen, but being able to have auto moon cycles and cloud cover and anything else you can think up would be an amazing thing. I bet you could even rig it to run certain groups at different intensity so you don't burn up your softies. If you can't, some hacker will find a way to mod it.

Bon: Ya HAD to ask. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Shame on you!

See Bon, the Powerball winner is from Fort Dodge. Guess who bought 10 tickets from the Kum & Go? The hub with his cronies at work.
My step-son called me and asked me if I didn't return the call because I was trying to get his poor Daddy's heart going again.
So I called the hub at work and told him one winning ticket, one store - only 499 Powerball tickets sold at that location. He bought 10 of them. Odds are looking damn good to me.
The hub doesn't call me back. I have made five calls in an hour and a half to his phone and there was no answer - went straight to voicemail.
In between all this Cassandra asked me what I'd buy first. I told her I'd put in a tank order like Chad had never seen!
The sixth call one of the guys answered the phone and told me the hub left with 9 other guys and whooping and hollering. I knew he was lying....
Here are the reasons:
1. He'd call his wife first - so she could call the doctor's office. He'd now need nitrogylcerine.
2. He would be running to Kum & Go faster than the Vette could make it there.
3. And lastly, I'm STILL his wife so I'd get his share anyway.
:jumping:
Needless to say, his tickets weren't winners and we are still waiting to hear which of the lucky Dodger's got it.
But I had a GREAT list ready to go....
At least 500 gallons for a new aquarium, killer lights, a reef list from hell and lastly - automate everything so the tank does everything but put my make-up on in the morning.
Ya had to ask....
