Oh no, definitely not. Any place that I have ever seen them kept they are always in large schools. I have never seen one kept succcessfully individually.

elvictre its hard finding a moorish idol on the island i see them now and then at fish n reef but there like $90 and there smalkl im like WOW!

Mine would be a ornate butterfly. Snorkeling in Hawaii I had a chance to see these and they are one of the best looking fish I have ever seen. However, they like most butterflies cannot survive on captive food.
