what do you do for a clean up crew..i put in 15 snails and 10 em crabs,,6 days later my fish cleaned up on the clean up crew
if u have an agressive tank

Is em crab short for emerald crab or hermit? do you have an algae issue? I have a 90 with about 30 empty shells but I did notice yesterday I have a few left over hermits from about 6 months ago. How big is your tank and what type of fish?

Me too; I think CUCs are highly over-rated anyhow.

I would suggest some species of starfish that bury in the sand. I have had two for nearly a year now in my predatory 125.... It's even got a Porcupine Puffer.

I manage to keep most of my snails,,, just know when you want 10 in the tank to go ahead and buy 20 and hope youll have 10 left in a few weeks. Mine always eat hermits, but I have managed to keep a spiny urchin (since it can hide) and the triggers havent eaten him yet and its been 2 years
