scary ain't it???? Our school passed this around, its a little better than the local police site.
The guy that is about 1/2 mile from us lured a kid off a playground into the woods. It was also said they he was doing things by himself as he watched the kids.
This park is where my daughter practices softball and we let the little sibs play in the playground. NO MORE !!

Now keep in mind some may be angry fathers that turned in their 15 year old daughters boyfriends, so don't live in fear, just live in awareness.
There is one in my neighborhood also.
This is a great link I think.
My mom sent me this in a forwarded email.

We have one nearby as well. If you really want to see a million red dots, type in the address of your local jail :scared:

You don't have kids to worry about. That trusting attitude could get you into trouble one day.
One of these freaks lives in my sub.

Thanks for the link Tizzo.

You know since you are very young, that it is wrong to do things with people against their will, and you also learn not to do it with minors. If you didn't learn or you didn't understand, all the more reason to "expose" you.
Having illegal relations is not an accident, it's an attitude and you don't simply change. You appear to change, but you do not actually change. It takes a long time to get up the courage to do something like this, then plan the actual act, then actually do it. These things are very much premeditated, you don't just change.
You either have it in you or you don't.
I will never ever trust anyone who has a --- offendors history with my kids, it is so not worth it!! Even if they did claim to change, well, to bad, this is my children and I would way rather err on the safe, maybe overprotective side.

I feel bad for the victim. I have no sympathy for them. The fact that they can do that sorta crime and then live as freely as you and I, just makes me mad! It's almost as if there is no real punishment for people like this.
Somebody put the "mad" smiley up for me, it's blocked on my computer.

My search listed 210 in my area. 2 within 3 blocks. One didn't list convictions, the other was lewd acts with minor under 14.
I watch my daughter very close. I walk her to school. (2 blocks)
The only problem I see with this is the harassment these people are receiving from neighbors. One guy that lived less than a block away moved because of the people coming up to the door and threatening him to his face. I don't know what he was convicted of, (his report didn't list convictions) but my wife had an employee that had to register as a --- offender because of a sexual battery conviction. He kicked another man in the testicles during a fight. His registration did not disclose the nature of the charges, it just said "sexual battery." This guys life changed because of it.
By no means am I saying to let your guard down. I feel that one conviction involving a minor or ---- should lead to castration then death for a 2nd offense.
2 cents plus a nickel or so.

There are 14 that live within a mile of my daughters elementary school. I beleive I will have to inform the school.
3 within a mile of my house.
Of course, my state apparently has become sexcual offender haven from what I have been hearing. Sucks.

Darth, I am postive that you school knows about it. Ours did and published to the school families to make them aware of thier own nieghborhoods.
To heck with the shotgun, I said that if I found some scum lurking in the bushes watching my kids, its the last time he would see his ....well.....manhood. My ferociousness would surpass a female lion

I can understand how this would be a problem from the offender's perspective. Personally, I don't necessarily sympathize. In fact, I have considered approaching the one offender in my subdivision to let him know that I don't expect him anywhere near my family or my house. Probably not a big issue right now because my daughter's a baby, but as she grows I want her to be able to ride her bike in an otherwise kid friendly subdivision. Maybe this is wrong but my main concern is my family... if I'm being rude or unfair to this guy, oh well.

Just a lesson to everyone... prosecutors are ambitious. You need a good attorney on your side. Not all lawyers are equal.
