Gears is not an FPS. It's a third person shooter.

I'm debating this and I think COD may win, but I'm not sure yet....

COD 5 beta is like COD 4, with crappy guns. It plays like the same game basically. The only cool concept Ive heard with the multiplayer is 7 kill streak you get attack dogs. I dont know how the game uses them, but I hear you get points for shooting them.
Its going to be a while before I can afford any games, but Im going to buy Guitar Hero World Tour first

Yeah i heard the dogs were like the helos and instead of an airstrike you have a mortar strike.
