API isn't really all that great...what about your other levels? 5 trate is good, but if you go reef, shoot for 0 if you can...but 5 won't hurt anything.

The dual satellite fixture, I believe that it is a pc lighting fixture. I see that it is 65 watts and you have a 29 gallon. Unfortunately it still will not be enough for an anemone. On the bright side, all of you readings look great.

I am sorry, I feel bad that I had to be the one to tell you that, but rather you know then have the anemone die and wonder why. With that light, you can keep softies and some lower light lps.

Zoas are softies, so yes they would be fine. LPS=large polyp stonies. Some examples would be duncans, acans, frogspawn, etc.

im guessing you want clownfish which is why you want the anenome. You can always do a frogspawn they have been known hosts for clowns

Why not take the anemone back to the LFS so that it doesn't die
Get a little money back...and then the anemone won't have to starve to death

Yeah you do but you don't have it's favorite meal which is light. Don't be fooled by your anemone surviving for months and months under your current lighting setup. It will eventually die.

Yes I know, all anemone's die some day. Okay, i'll talk to my parents about it and see if I can convince them about if I can take it back and get the frogspawn. But I doubt that they're gonna let me.

Bottom line is: keep the anemone, it dies. Trade it in, you get a coral and don't KILL a living animal. I am trying to put this as delicately as possible, but I am not sure that you get it. If you keep the anemone in your tank it will die 100%. You simply do not have the necessary lighting to sustain an anemone. That is all.

Okay, I am wanting to take it back, and I will trade it for the frogspawn. But, it will have to be a week or so because i'm going out of town and there's no way I can take it back before then.
p.s. sorry if I made ya'll mad at me for some reason.
