Hey,
Im going back to salt water after a very long break now with more recept and more knowlge. But i have forgotn the cycle period times and such can any one help. Like to day. i started the tank up salt,lights and the shrimp floating around. I just want to make sure i dont rush things i know there is a wait but i forget the wait time. hope some one can hekp me.

you dont need your lights on through the cycle process... the cycle will take 4 to 8 weeks test for amonia, nitrIte, nitrAte and pH... once you detect nitrAte it will be safe to start adding livestock...

Hey,
There is a few if i was to need some thing quick i can go to but if not the only one i could trust is not even open to the public yet. I was driving home from philly and on rt 70 In Maralton/ cherry hill. i see a Nice ls. Called Living Color I belive im not sure on the name but i wanted to see it. so i stoped but they were not open

They open next week so the best lfs Close to me is about 30-40 min from my house.

There is a good one in blackwood nj, not far from rt70 called aquarium center. also up north on westfield ave in roselle park there is an awesome small place...very high quality! Good Luck!!
