I don't like the cold either, but I actually hate the heat more. Well, actually, it's the humidity I can't handle.

I was born here............nasty icy, snowy, cold winters. Still not used to it. In fact, the older I get, the worse it gets!! Summers are hot, but I like it.
I would be on the intercoastal in Florida or South Carolina if I had my way.

I live in Fort Walton Beach about 30 minutes east of p'cola and I can tell you it is still hot down here. lol. Would rather be hot that fighting the snow though.

oh yeah, we used to visit there sometimes, my parents had friends out that way. I LOVE the heat! I miss being able to cook eggs on the pavement outside in the summertime... :-(

LOL. I married a woman from the carolina's and it sounds like her and your husband have some things in common(except the cat/dog thing) We are moving to Greensboro this time next year. Don't know if I will miss this place or not. Lived here all my life(30 years) and I could use a change. The tourists have gotten so bad and they just seem to get thicker every year.
