Glad to have you back. Good luck with the clean up but some of your corals still look nice. Post an up to date FTS and pair it up with one of your older shots.

I see that the clam had to be removed. I have an in tank refuge which is filled with chaeto and caulerpa but have yet to run into a problem with it growing on my LR. It is very invasive so removal won't be easy. Some fish do eat caulerpa but off the top of my head I can only think of tangs which you can't add. Sorry.

way to make things seem grim
. I really need to get a new clam because i think that it removed nutrients from the tank. This may have been a major competitor of the caulerpa. This is just a hunch but i hope that it may help with getting rid of the caulerpa for good.

Give it a couple of months and your tank will be back to looking like it used to. SPS can take months to color back up. All in all everything looks good.

I had a sea hare that not only cleaned all my sea hair but it took care of any wayward calapra that had made its way to my DT.

im worried to do a sea hare becauase if it dies, it will wipe out my tank. so 10 dollars over 600, i think i will pass

i dont think thats true for them. i had one pass on in my 75 reef and the only thing that happened was my cleaner and blood shrimp had a schmorgousbord (spelling?). i had even seen the guy "ink" when my clarkii was bugging him-nothing happened then either. my tank had shrooms, polyps, and a few leathers at the time.
