Crap, I must have missed it, but I think my cat went into heat, while I was out of town. And now she's looking knocked up. I hope not. four legged furry kitty of the night.

Do you have vietnamese people nearby? I'm sure they can find a purpose for a litter of kittens...

I was watching a documentary on vietnam and it's amazing all the different animals they use for food over there.

I was wondering if that was something that could get me banned. So I had to make up some story about a vietnam documentary... errr, I mean, it was a REAL documentary! Honest!

I used to love cats - had them for years and years... but I also had a consistent runny nose for years and years. When I realized that my runny nose was in direct correlation with the cat, that was the first red flag for me. Then my wife got pregnant and said she couldn't clean the litter box anymore. Strike 2... and this was a big strike because I hope I never think its acceptable for an animal to crap in my house. Strike 3 came when our new landlord wanted an extra $500 deposit and $25 more on our rent per month. They had to go.
But for me what I really don't like is how they have a mind of their own... they don't seek to please like a dog does. Plus, you can't train them to do anything. Overall, I've become a dog person.

I'm not much of a cat person myself either. I have been around some cool ones but grew up on a farm where feral cats were a big problem. Kittens are absolutely adorable but cats are kind of boring.

I keep chickens at my house and every now and then a cat will come lurking... eyeballing the chickens. I have a BB rifle that I use to ward them off. I don't dial up the fps very high so it doesn't break the cat's skin or anything... just leaves a welt and scares them off.

Chickens should have no problem with 99% of all cats. I've seen them take out a couple interested cats...

We had a cat that we saw take down jack rabbits in the oil field more than once but he didn't want anything to do with the chickens. Must have had an encounter with a rooster when he was young or something.

Then don't send those chickens around my parents cats. They have been seen to take out Racoons before. Ceaser and Gizmo have a nice system they used on a Racooon one of them is Higher in the tree the other is Lower. Well the Coon can not attack one without the Other kicking the crap out of it. When my mother got sick I ended up with them. Anyone want a pair of 25 lb attack cats.
