Nice tank! Congratulations!
Kinda like this.
Unload all the substrate into buckets. Covered in tank water..Then The filters, dont rinse 'em, just in buckets with a lid and water, keep everything wet. Drain out enough water to fill a large garbage can. Then drain at most of the water and net the fish. Put them in the trash can (you can also use totes). Drain the rest of the water from the tank and load it all up. Put the water from the trashcan back in the tank and put the fish back in there also. It was cold today so, I used an inverter to run a heater in the tank. The sloshing of the water arieates(sp) it all you need. Duct taped the lids on and boogied home. Repeat the process when I got home. Not really that easy with a reff. You can bucket everything or put them in totes. But you either have to keep all you'r water or mix and wait to fill. If you can mix some in the place you are moving it to then you can aireate and heat it in advance so you wont need to wait. Most importantly though, keep anything in the tank that has a surface area on it wet so you're bio filter will remain intact.
