wow so whats our friends names?
My neighbor Angelo gave me a tank and ny friend German gave me the lights. He actually had 2 sets of the 384w fixtures and did not know what they were used for. He had one set up in his yard for a holloween party. When I commented about the light he said it had white, blue and little lights in it with 3 cords and a fan.I told him they were for a fish tank and he told me he had another one that he would give me.Guess what,he found them! Some people have good luck.

WOOOHOOO!
It's here!
It's a 125 AGA, Has 4 plecotsomuses, some cichlids and some really fat little fish. I think some of them are tetras or something. I screwed my back up in the process but it's set up. The stand is really lacking and I'll rebuild it when I convert to salt. I'm glad it's only a 125, it'll allow me to change over sooner.
With lower costs involved. It is awesome!
Stilll alittle cloudy from the move, sorry about the bad pics. My camera for some reason want to take orange pictures in my office.

OK, I must know. How did you move that tank? Put all the water in several different jugs and the fish in bags or what? It looks great for just being moved. I'm dreading a move afer I get my 125 gallon reef tank set up. :scared:
Nice tank! Congratulations! :cheer:

Kinda like this.
Unload all the substrate into buckets. Covered in tank water..Then The filters, dont rinse 'em, just in buckets with a lid and water, keep everything wet. Drain out enough water to fill a large garbage can. Then drain at most of the water and net the fish. Put them in the trash can (you can also use totes). Drain the rest of the water from the tank and load it all up. Put the water from the trashcan back in the tank and put the fish back in there also. It was cold today so, I used an inverter to run a heater in the tank. The sloshing of the water arieates(sp) it all you need. Duct taped the lids on and boogied home. Repeat the process when I got home. Not really that easy with a reff. You can bucket everything or put them in totes. But you either have to keep all you'r water or mix and wait to fill. If you can mix some in the place you are moving it to then you can aireate and heat it in advance so you wont need to wait. Most importantly though, keep anything in the tank that has a surface area on it wet so you're bio filter will remain intact.
