I was just there this past October. The Waikiki Aquarium didnt impress me that much (was there in 2003) May have changed since I've been there. You saw a lot more things just snorkling in the ocean. If you do go snorkling, go to Hanuma Bay. Its one of the best places on the island of Oahu to go snorkling. (its on the southeastern side of the island) If you go there, you should go either very early in the morning or a little later in the afternoon. The place gets filled up very quickly. Pearl Harbour is cool. (free too!!! bonus) The flea market at Aloha stadium is neat place to find things.
The Dole plantation is a fun place to go. The maze is a lot of fun and they also have a train ride through the planation too if i recall. If you like to hike and walk, you should climb diamond head also. Great views from the top of there.
Never been in the atlantis submarine launching from the

Hawaiian village but it looks very cool. Would like to do that sometime.
I have a timeshare on the western side of Oahu in Ko Olina. That is where the football players stay during the pro bowl. When I was there in October, they said that they were building a new aquarium on the property at Ko Olina. Not sure what the time table of that will be though. It could very well be open by the time you get down there.

We're staying on Oahu in Honolulu at a hotel named the Royal Grove Hotel.
We're going to be there for a week, and this is what i have planned so far:
*aquarium & zoo (this is a definate must!!!)
*some sort of mountain climbing excursion
*snorkeling (also another definate must!!!)
*surf lessons
*a LOT of lazing about and lying on the beach
*a LOT MORE shopping
*pineapple picking
*visiting other small cities & maybe a trip to the north shore of Oahu
*luau
So has anyone else been to Honolulu? Do you have any other suggestions of stuff to do while we're there? This is in like 3 years, so it's not that urgent... lol! But i like to dream about it, and if i know of stuff to do while we're there, i can dream about that too!!! Any suggestions are most appreciated!!!

honolulu is gay. dont waste your time. if you are going to go anywhere, go to maui. or kauai. there is one secluded black sand beach in maui that is unbelievable. when you go snorkeling, try to get on the "MAUI POWERCAT"- it goes to molokini- thats where its at to snorkel. they also stop at turtle town.
make sure you also snorkel off your beach, if you can. i wouldnt waste the time or money to scuba. you can see everything from the surface.
