I had my new sump up and running. The water flow was reat no problems to worry about.
I wake up at my girlfriends house with a call from my parents.
"aaron your tank almost set the house on fire"
needless to say I rush home.
My tank was drained into the sump as i expected it to do incase of a flood. The power strip was charred because of water dripping on it.
I get a new power strip and turn on the return pump. It fills the tank up and i see it leak from the corner in the back.
Now i cannot use my new supm that i got for christmas. I will have to save up fo a new tank. I think i am going to get a RR 40 gallon.

Things happen for a reason.
The tank was cracked not the sump. I will plan on buying a RR tank as soon as I can afford it. Does any one have a general estimate on a 46 bf RR?

It's been a while but I think my 46 bow front with wood stand was about $350ish if I'm not mistaken.

I had a 46 bowfront, and I just got a 58RR rectangle, I like the plain front much better than the bowfront. JMO though. I love the dimensions of the 58gal.

Not sure on a 46 but I just priced a 120gal AGA Reef Ready from one of my more pricey LFS and it was $390 for the tank (no stand) if that gives you some frame of reference. HTH

I might just get a 46 bf rr from my LFS with stand and canopy for 713. That includes LS and everything!
I think that is a pretty good deal.

Sounds steep to me. I only paid about 480 for my 90, tank, stand, and canopy.
