Hey guys! Whats the best way to move a tank? I have my 12g Nano that I have to move down 3 flights of stairs and then about a 15 minute drive. I was thinking about draining half the water into bags and sticking my livestock in them (individual bags, of course) I have my clown, cleaner shrimp, emerald crab, and 6 turbos plus all of my live rock which has my xenia and cabbage attatched to it. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Jen

i actually just moved my 55 about 10 mins down the road. all i did was put everything, water and all, into a bunch of 5 gal buckets that i got from lowes. it was pretty simple actually, just took a long time. after i set everything back up i wen to my lfs and bought 20 gals of RO water. over about two days i did a massive water change. it was a little more than 50 percent because i had 90 lbs of lr, and 75 lbs of ls.

cant you just pick up the 12 gallon nano water and all and just carry it away?
lol sorry just kidding, :hilarious: it should be pretty easy to move though compared to some of the bigger tanks and threads of read on moving them.
