Mmm, nothing like a good ribeye, a little salt, pepper and garlic powder and a few minutes on the grill...

Has anyone seen that humane society video on it?
Made me hungry.
Seriously though... it's a true paradox. I want to eat meat, but I don't want to think about what goes on at those slaughterhouses, because if I did... I wouldn't want to eat meat.
Just as we must respect the fish we keep, we should respect the food we eat. The sad thing is that this is not news... it's just heightened awareness. The way we address this is by choosing to be more aware and avoiding brands associated with this kind of stuff.

Yep, the potato does look mistreated, needs sour cream & butter - that'll make it better

Are you kidding??? I haven't had a properly cooked steak since I got to this doggone state... Texas is great and all, but they sure love to over-cook their meat. I mean, it's Texas for Pete's sake...

Yeah, and what's all that green and orange stuff on the plate?? Someone apparently needs to fire the dishwasher, there's still food residue from the vegetarian who ate there first!
