I would first start out with the book:
Clownfishes by Joyce D. Wilkerson, it would truly be money well spent.
I would give that book 5 stars. ***** And if this book doesn't answer your questions on setups then Perhaps Bang Guy or some other breeder here can help.
My clowns breed but I have not setup a tank for them yet.

Excellent suggestion. Don't even choose a species until you've read the book.

I also agree with the above suggestion.
In addition, I would read "The conscientious Marine aquarist" by Bob Fenner. This is a great book for general marine keeping. It goes over equipment basics as well as how to start, cycle, and maintain a salt water aquarium system.
