I`m new to fish keeping and I need some advice. I want to buy a Porcipine Puffer and I need some advice on how to set up the cage, how warm the tank needs to be, how large the tank needs to be, ect.
So if you have any advice please post here.

First of all, welcome to the board!!!!!!!:D Secondly an aquarium may be better suited for the puffer you want. Not exactly positive on minimum requirements for one but a 55 gallon ought to be sufficient.

55 gallon for one?!? But they`r only about three inches right?( or am I wrong) Man...I must sound really new to this hobbie and I am. But does one fish really need that much space?

Yeah...my recommendation would be 75g or larger. Maybe only 3" now, but they grow to be 6-8" or more.

Puffer_fish_man,
A porcupine puffer can grow up to 20" or more
you need at least 125gal to keep one
Most of the puffers get big.
If you want to keep a puffer in a small tank then go w/ a Canthigaster puffer. They stay small and colourful. They just cant puff as much as the big ones do

Hmmmm...man that big really? Oh, well I guess I`ll have to wait to get a Porcupine puffer. :( I just don`t have the money to buy a tank that big.
I need to find a fish that stays small.

yup, you can keep a pair of clown gobies w/ corals in a 7 or 10gal tank or if you really want to keep a puffer, go w/ a toby puffer (Canthigaster). They will be fine in something bigger then 40gal
