Im new to this..help

Ok I just bought a volitan lion at my lfs and they said he wouldnt eat for a few days and he said then to feed him ghost shrimp so what else can I feed him he is just sitting in one spot and my damsles r staying away from him and he is only maybe bout sa big as a fw betta

Wow, small lion indeed. As much bad information as fish stores give out, that was actually good advice. The lion may not eat for a couple days as he is getting used to your tank. Be sure to ask the store if he was eating before you got him too. You should try feeding live ghost shrimp for a few days, he may not eat for a couple days, but try anyways. Once you get him eating live food for a week or so, then we'll give you information on how to ween him back off live stuff. Good luck, lions make great pets.

Hi,
I also am new to this and have a lion fish & puffer that have not eaten since I brought them home saturday, so I guess this is the norm (but I would feel alot better seeing them eat) I did try the garlic from the lfs and it seems to get them stirring around so maybe that will help.
