Nice. I love his remake of this song. Its so funny though, I've been in so many arguments with the old timers about this song as "Johnny Cash would never sing a Nine Inch Nails song, they redid his song".
But I really like Johnny Cash. My wife has a bunch of records we will listen to and we have some cds laying around too.

Johnny covered quite a few songs by modern artists like U2's "One" and "The Wanderer" and Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus"...I love the depth his voice gives these songs. He has (sry, had) a way of making them come to life.

Let me just say "Thank You"....

I was getting depressed as I turn 40 this year, but you all have just reminded me that I am no where near the "old farts" generation...

That's O.K. Johnny cash is timeless. In fact my son that was just born yesterday, his middle name is now Cash

Johnny Case was the man! His version of Hurt is really good. I personally like Kermit the Frog's version of Hurt the best though. Can't post a link to it here though so you will have to search Youtube yourself if interested.

the last 5-6 albums he made with Rick Rubin before he died were some of his best stuff. I'm a fan of his old songs, but imo, "The Man Comes Around" may be the best song he ever wrote.
