im pumped...new 55

well im still in the process of putting together my 55 gal....finally finished my stand..i need to stain it now.i made it out of birch...
i bought my ro di...put it up on the wall near my washing machine i think its a reef something or other
i just ordered 2 koralia 3's for the 55 and a nano for mixing....i also ordered a heater..its either a stealth or a jager i forget...
i also bought my skimmer.. the Octopus 150 to go in my sump
this is my 1st tank... so please give me some advice if you have any..
im going to be gettin about 65lbs of LR and some sand from my lfs because it costs more to get it shipped
once all the shipments get here ill be takin pictures and posting them

I also have a 55g great start up tank and also a great tank for smaller spaces and a lower budget (in my case anyway).
I look foreward to seeing your pictures i'll get some of mine up soon enough i'm just swamped with work and big tests.
This site is a great place to bounce ideas off a number of different people with different opinions.
Are you going reef? or FOWLR?

i cant believe its been a year...ive been doing research..it should be a law to do research for a year before you can get a tank...i hope im doing everything right the 1st time..but i mean i dont even have the tank set up and i want a bigger one already lol....i have a helluva lot of pics too..i started a build thread but it was taking me forever to get things done so i let it go

Bud, My tank has been set up for years and is still not how I want it. It is about the healthiest it can get though! That is very important to me

thats what im trying to do...its gonna have alot of corals...like the brightest i can possibly get...and im also gonna try to get a pair of picasso clowns

my father works for osram soo im gettin free ligths from him... going to get 2 150w MH w/ electronic ballasts
and after a couple of months probably a 2 48in actinic retro kit
i think imma go with pfo reflector and mogul sockets...its the only ones that will fit in a 55g canopy cuz its really skinny
