Gosh,
A lightbulb just went ON as I was reading someones post..
My PH runs 8.0 all the time... Well my water perams are
sal 1.024
temp 80
Ca 450
Kh 10-12 (what it runs when I test, always one of these)
well anyways, everything in my tank is healthy and thriving (knock on wood) BUT
I always add Kent marine buffer in my water change water to help raise the PH.. DEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR
Thats a buffer and it NEVER dawned on me that , my buffering capacity is fine.. BUT thats NOT gonna raise my PH..
Geesh....I am wondering IF I should get that stuff called perfect ph or something like that OR leave well enough alone.. I DONT use chemicals in my tank, so I hate to do it.. Maybe I am just overthinking the whole PH thing...
IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT FIX IT... Ya know???
