This might be just a rant, I'm not sure.
I'm tired of seeing the same ole' usual stuff. Zoanthids, leathers, xenia, chili corals, feather dusters, hammer, frogspawn etc.
Who else here are tired of the same-ole corals? I want some neat and cool stuff!
Anyone know of some really neat and cool jems in the trade?

Superman montiporas is something high on my list.

You can try clams, there are some really cool clams out there. SPS and some acans are really nice. You can also get into some of the higher end chalices. It just depends on how much you want to spend.

I dont know if the grass is greener on your side but here in Montreal salwater fish are not popular to beggin with ,so it is harder to find something "WOW"!!Living in maine (been there with kid in summer)i can imagine it's not easy!!But at least you can order on line!!Here the concept does not exist!!!Maybe somedays!!!

There is a least one awesome frag online store in Canada that won't ship to US. In that case I wish I was in your shoes :)

Eh, I've pretty much seen everything. Even Acans and Blasto's really aren't that amusing anymore.
I'm guessing what I will have to do, instead of persuing (sp?) challenges, I need to persue (sp?) building a color pallet of corals and mixing and matching to create perfect scenes of beauty instead of what I have been doing, I guess.
Anyone else feel this way?

Go on reefcentral. Noone ever sells anything good here. I have gotten all my rare SPS frags from -- members. Thats the only place I can find people selling them for OK prices.

Eh, I'm breeding convict cichlids and frontosa. Also, I have bread clownfish. I'm getting into breeding garra rufa and german blue rams. yeah, I know - tisk tisk, freshwater. lol.
I've never bred any dottybacks or any pelagic spawners for saltwater. Maybe that's something to get into I guess. I've also kind of been thinking about aquaponics. :D Growing tomato's and other edible plants... I think that would be neat.

I would say after awhile it can get boring but I thinking of going with fish only tank if I get tired of corals.
