Thanks Henry - you had to do that right in the middle of my 65 upgrade, now i want to do this, I was just going with black background. Althought this is not a big tank that I am doing - I think this would be awesome on a big tank, it gives such a three dimensional feel. i like it.

Gotta remember though the back glass need to be kept clean. Another pane to keep the coralline off.

Yea I was thinking that spanko, if ya get any kind of algae on the back glass you'll never see it but, it looks pretty cool.

That is pretty awesome. Also a lot of work. The way the OP is going seems like it will take a lot of room. Actually this could be done commercially but for some reason you still see the same old reef setting backgrounds. That guy who make it should patent it.

Here is the latest picture from this tank. Full of jaw-fish. The goal was a Caribbean Inspired Reef.
